Does Tend send my data anywhere?
No. Every measurement happens on your Mac and stays there. Tend only contacts its server to check for updates and, after launch, to verify a Pro license.
Which Macs does it support?
Macs with Apple silicon running macOS 15 or later. Battery features need a MacBook; everything else works on desktops too.
Will Tend slow my Mac down?
It's built to stay out of the way: about 2% CPU while its window is open and around 0.3% in the background, with motion turned off automatically in Low Power Mode.
What happens when the beta ends?
The free features stay free. Pro features move to a paid plan, and founding members keep their discount for life.
