The details
Founding price
Confirm your place on the founding list before launch and you get 40% off. On Monthly and Yearly, the discount lasts for as long as your subscription stays active. On Lifetime it's a one-time 40% off. We email your offer at launch, and it's valid for 30 days. Full details.
The yearly trial
Yearly starts with 7 days free. If you cancel before the trial ends, you pay nothing. Otherwise the yearly price is charged when the trial ends, and then once a year until you cancel.
3 Macs per license
Use Pro on up to 3 Macs that you use. Sign in to your Tend account on each Mac, or enter your license key. You can move Pro to a new Mac from your account page.
14-day refunds
If Tend Pro isn't right for you, ask for a full refund within 14 days of any charge. Email support@tendmac.app or reply to your receipt.
Taxes and receipts
Paddle sells Tend as our merchant of record. It works out VAT or sales tax for your country, takes the payment and emails your receipt and invoice.
Cancel any time
Cancel from your account page or from Manage billing in Tend's Settings. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
Questions about pricing
Is Tend really free?
Yes. Monitoring, per-app energy, the Battery Coach, updates, security checks and Clean Up scans are free, with no time limit and no account needed. Pro adds the features in the table above.
What happens when the beta ends?
Free features stay free. Pro features need a plan. If you're on the founding list, we email your founding price before checkout opens. Nothing changes without notice, and Tend never charges you automatically for the beta.
Do I need an account to buy?
No. After checkout we email you a license key from hello@tendmac.app (your receipt comes separately, from Paddle), and you can paste it into Tend. If you sign in to Tend with the same email you used at checkout, Pro follows your account to your other Macs automatically.
How do I pay?
Checkout is run by Paddle. It accepts major credit and debit cards and PayPal, plus other payment methods in some countries. We never see or store your card details.
Why is there a monthly plan and a lifetime plan?
People buy software differently. Monthly costs least to try, Yearly costs least over time, and Lifetime suits people who'd rather pay once. All three unlock exactly the same features.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Cancel your subscription and choose a new plan, or email us and we'll help you switch.
Do you offer discounts for students, teams or more than 3 Macs?
Not yet. If you need Tend on more Macs, email support@tendmac.app and tell us what you need.
